Mary’s Bakery always serves up fresh bread and pastries. It’s a great spot especially if you are looking to grab a snack. You’ll have plenty of choices to pick from. Mary offers croissants to custard filled buns. If you’re craving cake, Mary offers that too. Everything is beautifully presented.

As far as dessert pastries go, I thought the green tea squares were highly addicting. They reminded me of the matcha green tea drink at Jamba Juice. They were good with a little bit of coffee that we brewed up at home. Every time we visit, Rose gets the pineapple squares. The soft pineapple squares are filled with a jellied center.

With all the choices to make you are sure to try something new. This happened with the crème brulée. I’ve always saw it on display and never got a chance to try it. That streak ended. We ordered it. At most, it was average. You could really tell that it was heavy on cream. Overall, the desserts and pastries you find at Mary’s are tasty.

By the way, beware of the highly buttered golden sandwich. Once you try that, you might just flip out. That thing is crazy.

It’s a spot for dates because…
Mary’s Bakery offers a great selection of pastries and other goodies. If you want to snack on a cake or croissant, make Mary’s Bakery a spot to see.

  3. Hi Ann,

I’m sure you’ll find something good to try out at Mary’s. Check out the custard filled buns. The custard they use on those things are just good.
