It really depends on how large your baking dish is.  We started off with 2 cups of cherries (cut in half) to line the bottom of our small baking dish.  Try to start with that with the dish you have at home.  You don&#039;t have to completely cover the bottom with cherries, but if you feel that you don&#039;t have enough, you can always add more.
