I'll admit, time to time I'll crave a burger from McDonald's too. In fact, since the lecture was at 7:30 at night, I had to do fast food that night. With a McChicken and Iced Coffee in hand, I was all set. It beats being hungry at the lecture.

I am a big Anthony Bourdain fan too. I agree with with the subject on adapting to other cultures. A few years ago, I invited a couple friends over for a Chinese New Year banquet, but it was during their religious fasting period. They were told by their priest not to decline a meal due to religion.
And for McDonald's....I feel that people are making Mcdonalds a bigger problem than it should be. Sometimes, I just want a burger, and I'll go to mcD's, but just once every few months. Fast food should never be a habit, but in my opinion, that's our own faults, not the restaurants. I think if we all set higher standards for healthy habits, restaurants would be forced to match that standard. Or, maybe I live in a happy fairy land :)
