Looking for a gyro with a Mediterranean touch? Look no further than Gaters. Gaters serves up meat packed gyros that are sure to fill you up. I first had a gyro when Rose bought me one some weeks back. The first thing I noticed was how much meat they served with it. Chris came up for a visit so we tried to hit this spot up for a quick bite.

I ordered the same gyro that Rose ordered for me. It had steak, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cucumber sauce. All of which were packed into a soft piece of pita bread. These guys aren’t skimpy with the meat servings. When I tried to take a bite, the steak was spilling out of the pita. I opted to get the non spicy version, but if you can add in a little heat with your gyro if you wish.

Gaters offers more than just gyros. They have rice plates, kabobs, and even hamburgers. The first thing you will notice when you step into Gaters is the meat on the rotisserie. Looking at it will get you hungry. I would definitely recommend this spot for a quick bite. The restaurant is quite small and is more suitable for takeout.

It’s a spot for dates because…
Looking for an outdoor date recommendation? You can grab a gyro or two here to go and head off to Lake Elizabeth for a picnic.

  1. When I went to Gaters with Lando, I ended up ordering the Spicy Burger. The burger was good. For about $6.50, I got a burger and fries.

I wasn’t able to snap any shots of the burger and fries. I was a bit too hungry. Sorry about that folks, maybe next time.
